1. NYC: Edge Observation Deck Admission Ticket

Edge is a marvel of architecture, engineering, and technology, suspended in mid-air over 1100 feet above the ground, giving you the feeling of floating in the sky. With Edge's unique vantage point on the western side of Midtown Manhattan, take in the entire Manhattan skyline from 1 place—from the tip of Central Park down to the Statue of Liberty and beyond. Begin your journey on Level 4 of The Shops at Hudson Yards, where you will enter into an immersive multimedia experience explaining the design, construction, and sustainability of Hudson Yards. Then, head up over 1100 feet to the Observation Deck, and then 80 feet out into the air on the Outdoor Sky Deck. Here, frameless glass panels walls are boldly angled outwards to allow you to feel the thrill of leaning out over the edge with the busy city below. Next, stand on the glass floor and look over 100 stories straight down to the city streets below your feet. At Edge's furthest point, The Eastern Point, there's space for one person to stand alone, surrounded by glass, air, and sky—you will never have had a picture quite like it. The upper level also features the Skyline Steps, where you can look out over the top of the glass panels and past the edge of the deck. Have a seat and hang out in the sky with your friends and family, or head indoors and sip champagne or a signature cocktail at the Champagne Bar. When you leave be sure to visit Hudson Yards centerpiece, Vessel, or enjoy a bite to eat or shopping experience at The Shops and Restaurants at Hudson Yards.

6. 5-Hour NYC Private Skyline Walking Tour

The perfect tour for couples and small groups who like to walk, be outdoors, and want to take their time to really connect with New York City, its people, and their passions with this ‘local’s look’ of the city. This five-hour hike begins in the hipsterville neighborhood of Willamsburg. We pass through Domino Park, named after the now defunct Domino Sugar Refinery, for a brief stroll through the waterfront area. Cross the Williamsburg Bridge and meet the faces behind the produce at New York’s Essex Market, the flagship of public indoor food markets in the city, for more than a century. Enjoy lunch in an industrial-chic underground market. Then it’s off to Chinatown where we visit the Mahayana Buddhist Temple containing NYC’s largest Buddha sculpture, before trekking across the Manhattan Bridge to DUMBO, known for its galleries, shops and unique views of the Empire State Building and the East River. The last challenge is to hike the 1.1-mile-long wooden walkway of the Brooklyn Bridge for a close-up view of its most distinctive features, the 276-foot-tall masonry towers that hold up the suspension bridge.

Well organised, kept informed and reminded about the trip Map could be better and more accurate The whole experience was something else, you can see the Edge from the ground and doesn’t disappoint You are able to put your hand between each wall of glass, stand close up the glass as you want, and the triangle of glass in the floor is scary at first but amazing to look through it and stand or sit on it The views are fantastic and 360 and can see for miles There are refreshments available so you can chill and admire the views and pinch yourself

Excellent views from The Edge. You will be able to take some excellent photos. I would definitely recommend this activity. We had a clear day. I thought daytime view was good but next time I’ll try an evening slot. Hudson Yards was easy to find, we did some shopping after the activity. A very good range of shops. The Highline is very near only 5 min walk.

The Edge provides a different experience of a view with the floor jutting out of the building to give a 360 view! It was amazing to see! They also have part of that floor clear so you can look all the way down to the ground and the buildings below, if you dare too.

Highlight of my trip, the views are spectacular, this is a must do, treat yourself to a glass of champagne whilst admiring the view! The Edge really has the wow factor!

It is very exciting to go Edge. I enjoyed the most.
