Full description

Discover the most visited art museums in Florence together with a professional guide. Admire their most important works as you gain a deeper understanding of the Italian Renaissance.

Your guide will take you through the priority entrance into both galleries, without having to wait in the long ticket lines. Throughout your experience, your guide will be on hand to explain all about the most important works of art in the museums.

The first stop will be the visit to the Uffizi Gallery, with its extensive collection of paintings. Admire masterpieces by artists and protagonists of the Renaissance, such as Michelangelo, Giotto, Botticelli, Caravaggio, Leonardo da Vinci, and many others.

Later, the guide will take you to the Accademia Gallery to discover the most famous symbol of Florence: Michelangelo's David. The Accademia is home to one of the largest collections of Michelangelo's sculptures.

You can also admire the museum's many musical instruments, a collection of golden-background paintings, and the Sala dei Prigioni, with sculptures designed for Pope Julius II.

Chiara was a wonderful guide, her training as an art historian shines through… but she also knew how to adapt herself to my tempo and we had a lot of laughs and she answered all my ridiculous questions (NSFW). I learned but left with more questions which is the mark of a great teacher :) And she takes great photos. Thank you Chiara for a fabulous day!

Tours were good but they were separate and the first one, Academia was delayed, with more people added so we missed our starting time. Was a rush to the second part. Would have been better if run as one tour
