Your guide will tell you about the secrets and history of the Arno River as you cruise on its calm waters and admire the beautiful Palazzos that frame its ancient riverbed. See the Uffizi and the charming Ponte Vecchio from the water, and hear stories of the mysterious Vasari Corridor. You will also have the chance to pass under the Santa Trinita Bridge and the amazing Palazzo Corsini. Enjoy a refreshing glass of wine onboard, to celebrate your romantic evening in Florence! I did the Tour with my 2 year old (very active) daughter and my grandfather who only speaks Italian. Our Guide was very nice, she held the tour as booked in English but even translated into Italian. Also with my very active toddler she was very understanding and we had a wonderful time. Since we arrived at the meeting point with a stroller, the team was so kind to let us store the stroller in their office until we finished the tour. They provided on every level a very convenient and excellent service.

This was a really great tour with an exceptional guide, Fabio. It's generally short and sweet (you travel up and down the same stretch since you reach a dam making the river unnavigable), but it was a nice change of pace. You get tasty wine, a great historian and can just sit back and relax for a bit. We also lucked out with perfect weather!

Definitely a great experience that I would recommend to other travelers to Florence for the first time. My wife loves kayaking and boat excursions, so I thought it would be a nice idea to get this experience going down the Arno. It is unlike any experience walking on the streets, as you get to see the city from an entirely different perspective. Our guide was very nice and spoke in perfect English. She brought 2 bottles of wine to share between the 8 or so passengers, so that was a great little touch as well. She explained about the different buildings as well as the history and stories behind many of them. Our ride started at 6pm, so it was great to start in the light and end during sunset. It is not a long ride (1 hour), which was perfect for us, as we had many things to see and dinner reservations. Overall, I highly recommend this experience.
