Full description
Make your way to the meeting point to pick up your tickets from the local representative. Download the app that will double up as your audio guide throughout the day. You'll then head to your first stop of the day, the Uffizi Gallery, which is one of the most famous art galleries in Italy. It was designed and built by the famous architect and painter Giorgio Vasari, Cosimo I de' Medici's favorite artist.  With your entrance ticket, you'll avoid wasting hours in ticket queues and be able to conserve your energy to fully enjoy the masterpieces that await you. The audio guide app will accompany you during the visit to the museum. See works of art by Leonardo da Vinci and Michelangelo, among many others.  At 2.15 PM you'll visit the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore. This was the largest church in the world at the time of its construction in the fifteenth century. You’ll be enchanted by the sophistication of the marble facade, and the majestic dome that dominates it, designed by Brunelleschi. If you have chosen the option that includes it, the Accademia Gallery will be your last stop of the day at 4.30 PM. This gallery is the second most visited museum in Florence. It is home to Michelangelo's David, a true international symbol of the city and masterpiece of the Renaissance.

Great places to visit. The service received from the Travel Agent at the meeting point (Slow Tour Agency) was excellent and very personal! They were very helpful. The reservation was confusing as the Academia was considered “optional”, but there was no place in the reservation to select it. When I received my voucher, the Academia was excluded.

This self guided tour is good as it highlights must see exhibits while also enabling you to enjoy other pieces as you amble though the galleries. Only downside is that we weren’t told we had to do all three main activities - Uffizi, Acadamia and Duomo on the same day… meant it was a really big day for two kids and we believed we had bought a ticket that would allow us to take our time over 3 days… a better description would be a good idea.

It is very convenient to be able to move independently while listening to the audio guide on your mobile. The only reason why I do not give 5 stars is because it was not possible to choose the times of the visits; we had taken the Uffizi, the Cupola and the Accademia and the times were assigned to us. However, the time between one visit and another was largely sufficient to avoid having to rush to the other appointment. The pass associated with the full ticket (Brunelleschi Pass) is great for visiting the main monuments over several days. I advise
