    The Duomo is so beautiful and is an amazing piece of history to learn about the building of it and many years it took to get the top of the dome built. The artwork is just breathtaking and our tour guide did a great job explaining it all to us.

    Far away from the hustle and bustle, we were expected and equipped with headphones. Girgiana welcomed us at "pole position" in front of the entrance to the cathedral and led us through the cathedral. So we didn't have to wait a minute and were the first to enter the ingenious building. Girgiana's knowledge was enormous, she knew the answer to all questions and pointed out things that cannot be read in any travel guide. The guide was in English and very cordial. Then we stayed in the cathedral and looked at everything again.

    The cathedral itself is a feast for the eyes, but if you are made aware of the details and get the background information about the construction and the circumstances at the time, it is simply an impressive experience. The tour was very well organized! Comes with earbuds to help with volume, great!!
