Buses run for a good petition of the day, and come every twenty minutes, making it a convenient option. Florence is a very walkable city, however, and the majority of sites that most tourists will be taking in are not close to a stop- rather the bus runs a circuit around Florence. However, it certainly saved our feet to be able to jump on and go across the river to Pitti Palace and the Boboli Gardens!

We were taken all over the city, into the tuscan hills and back again all in the space of an afternoon. It was enjoyable to be able to see all of those famous sights in such a short time, perfect for the very quick trip I was taking. It was also perfect for when we wanted to go exploring, since we had transportation for the rest of the day.
