Wonderful tour with a passionate guide who used a microphone and loudspeaker so the whole group could hear her. She was very knowledgeable and knew a lot of historical background and facts. She brought the history of the Medici and the different art and building styles in a very comprehensive manner. It was a free tour where you could pay what you wanted at the end. Most people gave 10€/person, which we did also.

This tour was a good experience ! I would recommend going for this tour first as it provides a good summary and context of Florence and the Renaissance era before you dive deeply into the other places of interests. Our guide, Gabriel was very informative and he even provided us a a link that included all his recommendations for the city of Florence.

Chiara was really nice, she told us a lot about the city and the importance of the Medici family to the region and to the whole art renaissance. Honestly at first I was thinking it wudn’t be very enjoyable because we were pretty tired, but gladly I was wrong and even the walking was pleasant.
