the driver picked up on time right at our hotel in Mirissa. We quickly reached Yala (choose a toll road for 300 rupees). Approximately 12 km before Yala, we were transferred to jeeps and given a lunch box. Very decent breakfast: egg, sandwich, cookie, muffin, nuts, bananas and water. The advantage of booking Excursions here is that you pass everywhere without a queue and enter the park first. The safari itself lasted 3 hours, although usually the morning safari lasted 4 hours (minus a point for this). They waited 20 minutes for the leopard - he did not come out, but one participant saw his ear). We also saw many different birds, mongooses (2 pcs), crocodile (1 and far away), elephants (5 pcs) - their driver pulled out on the way to the watering place, very close, deer (2 pcs and far), wild boars and buffaloes in assortment .
