Experience the heights of Vancouver's Whistler Mountain on a shared group or private tour. Arrive at base camp and ride up in a gondola to the alpine shop to start your climb via ferrata. Use rungs built into the rocks to reach the peak and take in stunning views. Make your way to the village base camp and climb into a gondola, watching the world below becoming smaller and smaller as you ascend towards the starting point of your climb. Step off the gondola and enter the local partner's alpine shop to learn about the special lanyard system that will allow you to climb Whistler with ease. Look up in awe at the peak and clip yourself onto the cable that leads up the rocks. Hike past the Barrier lookout, a momentus rockwall of crumbling lava that supports Garibaldi Lake. JOFFRE LAKES SNOWSHOE HIKE: Joffre Lakes in the winter becomes a paradise. Although the lake is frozen over and hiding the beautiful turquoise waters, Joffre takes on more of a serene beauty. The low sitting sun peeks through the snow covered trees and reflects throughout the forest creating an glowing ambiance. LAVA LAKE SNOWSHOE HIKE: This low-level trail is perfect for families and beginner snowshoers. On the first day, enjoy a city tour that includes Downtown, Stanley Park, Canada Place, Gastown, and Chinatown as well as enjoy all sightseeing before your departure. On the 2nd day, take a scenic drive along the Sea to Sky Highway, passing by Horseshoe Bay, Shannon Falls, and Squamish. Ride on the Squamish Mountain Sea to Sky Gondola and shop in the village before arriving at Whistler. After sightseeing in Whistler, relax in the village, or experience the excitement of snowshoeing for free. On the last day, depart for Vancouver Island by ferry and capture the spectacular scenery en route. Pass by Victoria’s historic Chinatown, explore significant heritage architecture around the Inner Harbour, visit Beacon Hill Park’s remarkable Mile "0" and Legislative Buildings, and then head to the world-famous Butchart Gardens before returning to Vancouver.
