With Marek, our guide, you could feel the enthusiasm with which he spoke about his city and his personal stories. After a tour of the city center we took the boat to Westerplatte where WWII started. Then we went to Oliva, where we could listen to an incomparable organ concert in the Cistercian monastery. The entire park and the mighty monastery complex are worth seeing! Finally, we drove to Zopot and looked at the sophisticated beach promenade. The house of Klaus Kinski and the "crooked house" were also worth seeing.
It was a private tour. The driver was punctual and pick up from the hotel. The driver was very friendly, speaks English and had good conversation throughout the journey. Safe driving was important. The tour inside the castle was with audio guide and was very efficient and informative. The lunch was decent. The Walk in tour in Gdansk was so much fun with the tour guide. Overall I am happy with the trip.
We spent the day together with Barbara. she awaited us punctually in front of the ship, where she dropped us off just as reliably a good seven hours later. in the meantime we spent a very pleasant time with lots of information, anecdotes and interesting facts about the Tri-City.
