What people are saying about Geldingadalir Volcano

My partner and I visited Iceland back in November '22 for our Honeymoon, this was the first excursion we had planned and it did not disappoint! Our tour guide 'Siggy' was hilarious and really knowledgeable. The hike itself was difficult (our fitness levels aren't great but we did manage it) and it was worth it when we reached the top of the volcano! We had plenty of time at the top to take photos, explore (and recover). Would also highly recommend the Blue Lagoon afterwards too, it was the perfect end to the day!

Awesome day. Wasn’t as we were expecting at all. I really thought it was going to be a full on hiking day, but turned out to be so much fun. Took in some other sights on the coach. The guide was awesome and great sense of humour and informative. Totally recommend it.

was the first and best excursion i booked - the bus was comfortable and not overcrowded, the guide knew a lot about Iceland's history and mechanism of volcanic eruptions. The 3 hours at the blue lagoon was a perfect time to enjoy it after a cold day of walking

Fantastic trip, worth doing if you enjoy volcanoes. our guide Omar was brilliant and very knowledgeable. thoroughly enjoyed the experience

Hike was excellent- guide provided crampons which were essential. Lovely soak afterwards in Blue Lagoon
