The food was delicious and the host, Helen, was very entertaining and funny. The food consisted of several different sandwiches and savory snacks with scones and sweet treats. We got a glass of prosecco on arrival with as much coffee and tea as we liked. There is a comfort break halfway through the tour and you can order extra drinks etc throughout the tour. Lewis was very helpful and kind.

The experience overall was good. The atmosphere on the bus was good and the food accompanying the afternoon tea was pretty good as well. There was no actual guided tour or descriptions of the areas we were driving through though. And perhaps it's because we are American, or because we had just come over from Ireland, but the cocktails tasted more like mocktails. There did not seem to be any gin in them at all, and they were overly sweet. Even when we ordered additional, individual mixed drinks, there did not seem to be much (if any) alcohol included. We also had done a similar vintage bus tea tour in Dublin prior to our arrival in Glasgow that outshined this one, which affected our view of the experience because we already had high expectations from the first experience. By all means, try the bus for yourself! It is a fun and unique way to drive around the city and you'll have enough food to fill you up till dinner. But I wouldn't recommend signing up for the gin option.
