Full description
Travel through the centuries on this 2.5-hour walking tour of the most charismatic quarters of Granada: Albaicin and Sacromonte. Learn the history, legends and local culture, guided by an official tour guide. Visit the remains of the glorious dynasties that ruled the last Muslim kingdom of the Iberian Peninsula. Walls, gates, palaces and mosques await you. Starting from the city center, you'll wander the narrow alleys of the Albaicin – the Moorish quarter. Be amazed by the white houses and the flowered balconies. Continue into the Sacromonte, the "flamenco" quarter of Granada. Learn why people live in caves dug into the mountains here, and why Gypsies chose this place centuries ago as their settlement.

Antonio provided a great introduction to the streets of Albaicín and Sacromonte as well as other helpful information/insights about the city of Granada. He is really passionate about what he does which made the tour even more enjoyable. He was very prepared, informative and available to address any questions we had. At the end of the tour also recommended a place where to eat which turned out to be amazing. Gracias Antonio.

A very nice tour, essential to discover the two main districts of Granada, with their stories and anecdotes. To do as soon as you arrive to discover the city without getting lost and find the best addresses! Small flat, it was sometimes difficult to hear the guide because we are in town so a lot of noise around. It would be wise to think of a system with a headset to hear the guide anywhere.

Eduardo was our guide and he was amazing, friendly and patient. He explained all the secret details from Albaicin and Sacramonte and if we have any question he replied kindly. We learned a lot from him. I highly recommend this tour since we ended up having one of the best views from Granada and the Alhambra. It was a magic moment to see the sunset from there.
