Seville: 3–Hour Historical Tour

3. Seville: 3–Hour Historical Tour

Seville has been one of the most important cities in Spain since ancient times; the first settlers of the site have been identified with the Tartessian culture. The destruction of their settlement is attributed to the Carthaginians, giving way to the emergence of the Roman city of Hispalis, built very near the Roman colony of Itálica. At the time of the Almoravids, Seville was the best walled city in Europe. Following the riots of 1868 the revolutionaries toppled many of those walls, leaving sections of Macarena, Puerta de Córdoba and Alcázar. On this route, discover the doors of Seville, where carriages were stopped, mysteries unravelled,  stories unfolded; and take a cycling tour of the historic area, seeing the defensive route of the old Seville. Puerta Carmona, Puerta Osario, Puerta Triana - see them all, stopping at each one.

My husband and I on a visit to Seville had not thought about doing this experience but we decided at the last moment and I am happy to have done it. Gabriele the Italian boy who guided us was very prepared, not only that, he showed his enthusiasm in telling us the story, the monuments. He had an excellent knowledge of the city of Seville and in addition he made connections with the stories of other countries. When we asked for curiosity he always answered abundantly.

I chose the Diamond option because of the small price difference. The spectacular nachos starter, as well as the hamburger, very good, and the cake. All with a great presentation. Refillable soft drinks. The waiters are very nice and the place is beautiful and curious. I assure you that you will be satisfied in every way!

Very nice stroll in the city, because in Seville, everything is designed for cycling without any danger. The meeting point is a bit difficult to find, as it is a very small street. Our guide, Cristina, was great !!

Excellent service and food.

The food was absolutely amazing and the staff were so friendly and helpful. Not a bad thing to say about our experience.
