Overall great experience. Does take about 5-6 hours so I would eat a big breakfast before heading to the meeting spot. There’s also other cool stuff at the museum you can buy tickets for like a submarine. I recommend watching the short film before the ferry to the Pearl Harbor site..

MC Finny made this an informative tour (coming across as a deeply patriotic individual). We appreciated the tour and narrative on the way to Pearl Harbour, building up the history in a logical way. Pearl Harbour itself was well set out, informative and thought provoking. Having booked through GetYourGuide we were led to believe this was a wheelchair accessible tour. When we received our pick up instructions 24 hours in advance, it said you could only take a wheelchair if booked 72 hours in advance. This was nowhere written in the booking instructions and when we phoned the company we were told they were full and could not accommodate a wheelchair. This made the trip quite challenging for my husband. My second, more minor gripe about the pre trip instructions was that it said you could carry a bag less than 4 x 7 inches. This was not reality and many of us with small bags within the 4 x 7 had to pay to leave them at the luggage office.

Our tour guide on the way to the memorial was Fenny. He was awesome. Very knowledgeable and shares the information without being bland. The visit to the memorial was not long enough for my husband and I however are honored that we were able to pay our respects at the USS AZ.
