Some of the featured sites include (an asterisk denotes a stop): • Diamond Head: A volcanic tuff cone considered one of Hawaii’s most recognized landmarks • Kahala Estates: A mansion-lined spot known as Hawaii’s Gold Coast • Hālona Blowhole Lookout*: A lookout featuring a volcanic lava tube that propels water up to the sky • Waimānalo Town: A town known for its local flavor and numerous plant nurseries • Nu‘uanu Pali Lookout*: A lookout that offers panoramic views of the coastline to the sheer mountains veiled by the clouds • Byodo-In Temple*: A temple that commemorates the first Japanese immigrants to Hawaii • Chinaman’s Hat: The basalt islet in Kaneohe Bay that’s shaped curiously like a hat. This is an incredible tour, so much to see, never a dull moment and a great oversight of Oahu. Our guide Felix was amazing, while waiting for everyone to join back on the bus he would serenade the guests with his Ukulele, this made what was already a great trip even more special. The Dole plantation was busy, but Felix told us where to go to be able to see and get what we wanted. Stops were frequent, and worthwhile, including the Kualoa Ranch was cool, and across the road was the Chinaman's hat. And the temple was spectacular. If you want to see a bit of everything, experiencing so much, then this is the trip for you, highly recommended.

Unfortunately the activity got off to a bad start. We never received an email communicating the pick up time. We had the only information that the pick up would be between 5:45 and 6:45. Finally the bus arrived at 7:10. Fortunately, once on the bus, everything went well! The tour allows you to have a global vision of the island and to learn a lot. However, some points need to be improved. there are no scheduled stops along the beautiful beaches in the north of the island, leaving a long stretch of the journey without stopping. At noon, an hour and a half break is planned because the stop is at a place where there is only one possible restaurant. For the rest, our guide, Wes, was very friendly.

This is a perfect way to start your vacation. Definitely a must if you want to see most of the island, if only briefly, and from there you can decide what to explore further. It was a fantastic time with plenty of laughs, lots of island history and the comfort of a friendly tour guide.
