Meet your expert local guide at Helsinki Cathedral and join your small group walking tour to discover Finland's capital.   Listen as your guide shares intimate knowledge of the city and arrive at Senate Square, a significant site shrouded in historical heritage. Pass the exuberant Helsinki Cathedral, admire the classical facades of the Rock Church and the Finlandia Hall before enjoying the brightly colored houses of Mannerheim district, a quaint canal side district. Hear about the varied architecture, a lively cafe culture, and plethora of picturesque natural delights. Then continue through the green Esplanade Park between luxury houses and cafés in neo renaissance style.  Pose for photos beside the Market Square, and scour the scenery for the Presidential Palace. Then delve into the vibrant atmosphere of the food market in Helsinki. The three-hour tour with Joseline was fun and very informative. The accredited city guide is German, has lived in Finland for 20 years and was able to provide information on the history of Helsinki and the country as well as insider tips on restaurants, shopping opportunities and other worthwhile sightseeing. She was very considerate of me because I am currently disabled. There was also time together for an ice cream at Oodi and a final drink at the Ateljee Bar in Hotel Torni. A successful afternoon.

Really expensive and not professional at all.

The tour was led by a woman who showed up late at the meeting point without any sign and then after 20 minutes of my waiting around and calling the agency she came to introduce herself and said she lost her sign and was "looking for me". In the end she explained she is a freelance interpretor and not a tour guide. She appeared to be struggling with what to do with me, and kept bringing me to shopping centres and commenting on Christmas decorations, which was really not the point of paying 125 euros for a 3h city tour. After two hours, I just gave up and excused myself, as I thought it would be better and more enjoyable to walk around by myself and read from my guidebook. Don't book it!
