1. Icelandic Golden Circle Day Tour
Walk in the beautiful Thingvellir National Park and UNESCO Heritage site, which boasts dramatic scenery in any weather. You'll get a close-up look at how the tectonic plates drifted apart and where the first settlers of Iceland founded the world´s oldest parliament (Althingi) in the year 930. The tour continues on to the geysers area with the famous Geysir which all other geysers are named after. Here you can see the lively geyser Strokkur erupt roughly every 5-10 minutes and reach a height up to 25 meters. This area is full of interesting geothermal activity. From there you head up to Gullfoss waterfall, which many Icelander's refer to as the queen of all waterfalls. The Golden Circle is without a doubt one of Iceland's most popular tour routes and one its greatest highlights, and for good reason.
