Hilton Head Island: Pirate Cruise on the Black Dagger

1. Hilton Head Island: Pirate Cruise on the Black Dagger

Search for sunken treasure with this incredible pirate cruise. Head to the docks, where you'll be given a new name and learn to speak like a real pirate. Then board the Black Dagger and set sail on the Calibogue Sound. Stinky Pete, the island’s smelliest pirate, knows about the treasure map and he stole the key. The race is on, to find Stinky Pete before he gets to the treasure. The crew will man the water cannons and blast Stinky Pete until he gives back the key.

Hilton Head Island: Shrimp Trawling Boat Tour

2. Hilton Head Island: Shrimp Trawling Boat Tour

Join the friendly crew aboard the Shrimp Trawler Tammy Jane and see what daily life is like for local shrimpers. Start off with an introduction to the boat and the shrimping gear aboard. Then the boat will make its way to the shrimping waters off the coast of Daufuskie Island. Watch as the nets drag across the seafloor. After this comes the real fun as you help the crew sort through the day's catch on the sorting table. There will be a lot of bi-catch or other fish, sharks, and even stingrays that get caught in the net. The crew will go over what type of by-catch you should look out for, and will safely return these sea creatures to the waters. You get to take the freshest locally caught Carolina shrimp home with you to cook. The amount of shrimp isn't guaranteed as this is fishing, but it will be divided evenly among the parties aboard.

What people are saying about Hilton Head Island

It was perfect for our 2 boys - ages 4 and 6. The 3 "pirates" in charge were incredible and kept all of the kids engaged the entire time (which is a mighty task for little ones!). They even helped those who were a bit timid or scared. It was very interactive and my boys had a blast (and wanted to go again!). They even sung Happy Birthday to our 4 year old pirate-style. It was not a cheap, cheesy cruise, but very well done and thought out. The boys could fight with swords (against the bad pirate), shoot 'real' water cannons, search on a map, and even get treasure at the end. Worth every penny!

We took our 5 year old granddaughter and she loved it! The crew was so wonderful with the children and get them engaged the whole time. Would definitely recommend for anyone with young children.

Wonderful way to spend time on the water and entertain your kids at the same time. A true delight!

Easy to access boat and plenty of clean room for all. Map guide for navigation was easy to follow

Excellent service and a good quality boat! Thank you!
