Berlin: Jewish Heritage and History Private Guided Tour

1. Berlin: Jewish Heritage and History Private Guided Tour

The Jews were spread worldwide after being exiled from their land. Many settled in central Europe, and still others came after the "The Spanish Expulsion", staying steadfast in keeping their old faith and customs amid constant persecutions. Germany, including Berlin, excluded the Jews from normal life, but the Jews were persistent in the face of attacks and eventually received full rights as citizens. From isolated ghettos and communities, the Jews climbed to an influential social position in economy, science, culture and the new emerging democratic politics of Germany until the Nazis took power. The tour will tell the amazing story of Jews in Germany and the Nazi attempt to eradicate them from Europe.

Guide Milly was very knowledgeable

You need to make sure that the customer knows the guides name and phone number. We were never sent this information and we weren’t sure who we were waiting for . There was no local number to call.

Nadav was extremely nice and flexible! He was very knowledgeable in the subject and personable in his demeanor with us throughout the tour. He also gave us additional tips and suggestions!

Great city tour, where you get to see more than just the well-known buildings. Our guide was very reliable and super nice.

It was great.

I never would have appreciated Berlin as much without Julio.
