Amazing day out to Cairo. Although it was a long day out that started from 1:30 till 22:30 for us, it was a well organised trip and we were able to do everything. We didn’t feel rushed and had plenty of time to wander on our own and take photos. The English tour guide was very knowledgeable and guided us well. I found the buffet lunch to be very tasty. There was some extra add ons that you can take part for €12.50 like the boat trip on the river Nile which was nice. There was extra payment for the pyramids to ride a camel to a more open area in the dessert for a better view of the pyramids and to enter one of the tombs but we opted out for that so cannot comment of that experience. It was also a small group (less than 10) which I liked. There was also stops at some local business such as the papyrus and perfumery shop. You are not pressured to buy anything which I thought was nice but we did buy something from each shop as we were able to make a good bargain.

A well planned trip. A long journey but totally worth it. I would suggest if you are not interested in buying souvenirs or perfume - ask to have more time to wander around the pyramids. Looking forward to hopefully returning to see the new museum once it is open. Our guide was super friendly and kind.

It was a good trip, but we didn't feel like there was enough time going round the pyramids. the guides were very informative and also got us some lovely photos. But it was a long journey there and back and we felt that it was a bit of a wasted time as we were taken to a few shops for them to try to get us to buy souvenirs. The food was really spicy and we didn't eat that much, but that's down to personal taste.
