Discover the “City of a Thousand Minarets” on a full-day tour of Cairo, with round-trip transfers by bus from Hurghada. Relax in air-conditioned comfort on the long journey, admiring views of the Gulf of Suez.

Upon arrival, your private Egyptologist guide will take you to Giza Plateau to see the oldest of the 7 Wonders of the Ancient World. Get breathtaking views of the Pyramids of Giza as you explore the mortuary temples of Cheops, Chephren, and Mykerinus.

Learn the story of how the temples were constructed and hear the stories behind their legends. Continue to the Great Sphinx, the giant statue of a reclining mythical beast with a lion’s body and the face of the Pharaoh Khafre. Go to the Valley Temple opposite, attributed to the Pharaoh Khafre, and marvel at the feat of ancient engineering.

Next, take a break for lunch at a local restaurant. Then, drive into central Cairo to discover the artifacts at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square with fast-track entry. You can also choose to add Nile River cruise and a camel ride to your tour when booking.

Designed by French architect Marcel Dourgnon, the museum’s collections exceed 120,000 masterpieces from the pre-dynastic to the Pharaonic and Greco-Roman periods. Learn about the mummification art of Ancient Egypt before your return transfer to Hurghada.

The trip was well organized. However, the 16 hours in the description are not realistic. It takes at least 7 hours there and 7 hours back. Our trip had lasted almost 24 hours. The seats on the bus were very close together so that even we, as "normal-sized" people (177cm), had no legroom. That's why the almost 16-hour bus ride was really exhausting. You always need some small change for going to the toilet (0.5 - 1 €). The air conditioning and the suspension of the bus were good. Our tour guide Hanna was very good and very nice. We could ask anything and she was very knowledgeable. In my opinion, what you got to see in Cairo was enough (museum, Nile trip, papyrus shop, restaurant, pyramids/sphinx and perfumery), but the time at the pyramids was too short (about 40 minutes). We would have liked a little more time there. Overall, the trip was worth it, but we probably won't do it again by bus ;)

This journey is very long but an experience you will never forget. They picked us up at 2am and we got to cairo at 10am. We didn’t get back till 1am so it is a whole 24 hour trip but definitely would recommend. We had an amazing tour guid called Hanan. She was so lovely and sweet and very knowledgeable about ancient Egypt as she has a degree in egyptology. The cairo museum is a must to visit. You don’t have that long unfortunately only an hour and half. Seeing Tutankhamen treasure in the museum was insane something I will never forget. After we went on the boat ride which was quite long like an hour and half. From here you can see how beautiful Cairo is. We then went to have lunch the food was really nice. After lunch was the iconic stop which was of course the pyramids. We done the camel ride at the pyramids which was 30-40min ride i would recommend this ride for sure as you can see all the pyramids and the city of Giza.
