Notre Dame Tour with a Small Group

4. Notre Dame Tour with a Small Group

Out of all the tours, monuments or museums to be seen in Paris, this is the one that is not to be missed - furthermore, it is the one that should be the first on your list. The exploration of Paris starts from Notre Dame. This is the place where the city started out. It is the place where the temples of all of the societies occupying this part of the world were, and are, situated. It is the very center of Paris, and the symbolical center of France, Europe, and indeed the world. Notre Dame is a marvel of Gothic architecture - one of the greatest accomplishments of not only western European culture, but of human civilisation in general. The guides are passionate about Gothic architecture and this monument in particular - it is the topic of ongoing research that only gets more and more exciting. It is the local supplier's goal to share that passion with you and introduce you to a world of knowledge hidden in these walls, windows, and even pavements. Notre Dame is an eternal inspiration and an ongoing fascination. Take this visit and you will be surprised at just how much knowledge, wisdom, and genius went into creating this rare jewel of human endeavour, and how much of those rare qualities is communicated to the savant eye that knows where to look. The mission of this tour is to uncover this hidden knowledge and share it with you. While the cathedral is under reconstruction (since the fire in April 2019), entrance to the cathedral is not possible. The tour stays on the outside of the building. The activity provider will resume entering the cathedral as soon as it becomes possible.

Paris Illuminated Walking Tour in Spanish

8. Paris Illuminated Walking Tour in Spanish

Paris is known as the "City of Lights" for being the first city to provide its streets and buildings with street lighting. However, it makes just as much sense to call it the City of Lights because of the way it looks when it's illuminated at dusk. The tour begins at the Opera Garnier. See some of the main monuments and sites of Paris with beautiful illuminations of the city such as the Madeleine, an impressive church similar to Roman-style architecture; the Champs Elysees, one of the most important avenues in Paris; and the Elysee Palace, the seat of the presidency of the French Republic. Discover the monumental surroundings of the Grand Palace of Paris, the Petit Palais, the Pont Alexandre Ill, and the National Palace of the Invalides, which is where the remains of Napoleon are found. The tour ends at the beautiful Soul Bridge, which crosses the Seine River. Choose to include a boat trip on the Seine when booking to complete your experience.

This tour was a wonderful way to become acclimated to the city and where several popular attractions are. The top of the bus was clean and includes a port for headphones to listen to audio as the bus navigated the route. Wonderful seeing Eiffel Tower, Louvre, Moulin Rouge, Notre Dame, Arc de Triumph, and other areas within the city lit up at night from the vantage point on the top of the bus.

We did the cruise during night time. It was amazing seeing Paris all illuminated. Def lived up to the name of “City of Light”. Everything went smooth. It was 1hr but I didn’t feel like it was too long or too short. Even got to see the Eiffel Tower sparkle from the river!

The river cruise was a great way of seeing the city by night. It was comfortable, relaxed and the commentary was really interesting. I would definitely recommend this activity!

We had an amazing time travelling down the river Seine and seeing all the sights and also learning along the way would definitely recommend

Very good value for my money. Extremely well organized.
