The blue ice cave is magnificient as other reviews have shared. We are fortunate to have Fannar as our tourguide. He shared a lot of useful information and great jokes about the trip and his super jeep. Fannar also helped us take great photos in the cave. Fannar is very understanding and supportive for our young children who could not catch up to speed with the group. The hike to the ice cave is beautiful but quite tough in snowy condition. Even for adults, we have some difficulties on slippery paths sometimes. Fannar patiently wait and help my younger son through tough parts of the trail. He even walked with us on the way back to make sure we are safe as it was getting dark.

Our guide was so funny! We laughed for the entire tour. The ice cave is beautiful. Yes, there are a few tours happening at the same time but the guides have certain rules and you will be in one spot with your group, so you will have time to take pictures and enjoy the cave. I highly recommend.

Very good experience to get to know the glacier a bit. About 3 hours in total. We leave the glacier car park, in front of the beach of the diamonds, with a large 4x4 in a journey of about 15 minutes. Then we walked for about 20-25 minutes through the snow until we reached the blue ice cave where we spent about 45 minutes where he explained things about the glacier and we took photos.
