Great little activity to do with the family. It's a beautiful place and the experience is off the beaten path. Just a note, at the first visitable mill, the attendant asked me for my entrance ticket. She was very surprised when I showed her my electronic reservation, she was not at all aware of what GetYourGuide is, I had to insist on making her understand that I had already paid for the entrance , which is a shame. We didn't have the same problem getting on the boat, fortunately!

A site that you absolutely must see if you come to Holland. These mills are perfectly maintained, some are inhabited, others are open to visitors and transformed into a museum. Electric boats connect the mills to each other and allow people who do not want to walk too long to make the whole visit without difficulty.

Family experience with our grandchildren, respectively aged 4, 4 and 7, who were admiring of the site and the museum mills that we were able to visit. Very nice experience with the water taxi which allows you to pass according to the waves from one museum mill to another. Very pleasant time spent with the captain of the boat and his guide who also spoke a little French and who gave us very good advice and were really attentive to our little cuties. Place to recommend for an afternoon of immersion in Dutch regional history.
