This day includes an optional hot air ballooning experience during sunrise. Day 7: Full-Day Cappadocia Tour - Istanbul with Breakfast In the morning, admire the lunar landscape of the Devrent Valley. Stop at Avanos, the center of terra cotta works of art since 3000 BC, and enjoy a demonstration in a traditional pottery workshop. Transfer to the airport for your domestic flight from Kayseri to Istanbul and then head to your hotel for an overnight stay. Start with a 09:00AM pick-up from your Cappadocia hotel and your first stop will be Saratli Underground City. This city has many similarities with the Hideen Saratlı Underground Cities. The underground city has spread to large areas but a small part has been cleaned. Underground cities date back to the Hittite period, mainly carved to protect themselves from the attacks in an emergency. They were used by the Christians during early Christianity from the slaughter of the Roman Empire. After visiting the underground city, drive to Tepesi Delik Han Caravanserai, one of Cappadocia's most important historical locations. Have lunch at 01:00PM and then drive to Lake Tuz, a saline lake occupying a huge area in the arid central plateau of Turkey.
