Full description
Explore two of the most important destinations near Krakow over 2 days, choosing which museum you wish to visit first. For the Auschwitz tour, you will be picked up from your hotel by a minivan. You will then be driven around 65 kilometres to the former Nazi concentration camp where your guide will explain some the dark past of the area. The tour includes visits to the two camps, Auschwitz I and Auschwitz II Birkenau. See the remains of barracks, watchtowers, railway ramps, gas chambers, and crematoriums.  Your Wieliczka Salt Mine tour also includes hotel pickup. You will be taken to the Wieliczka Salt Mine, which is roughly a 40-minute drive away from Krakow. Once you arrive at Wieliczka, you will descend the 378 stairs to level 1, 64 meters below ground. Your English-speaking guide will brief you about safety regulations in the mine. Continuing to descend, you'll travel along a 3-kilometer route as you discover many unique chambers with amazing carvings and salt statues. At the end of the route, you will have the chance to explore the souvenir shop and snack bar. Lastly, you will be taken up to the surface by a high-speed lift.

Amazing but very sad. It was my second time to visit. But the emotion was stronger than ever. Our english speaking guide was also lovely. I would recommend taking one day out of your travels for this tour. As it is a lot and the journey is roughly 1hr 30mins to 2h if staying I'm krakow.

We took a 2 Day trip. First day we visitied Auschwitz camps and our guide Pauline was her name I think, was amazing. Very educating and eye opening. Everybody should visit Auschwitz at least once to learn about the horrors that happend here. The 2nd day we went to Salt Mines Wieliczka and our guide Mark guided us through the mesmerizing and enchanting Salt Mines. Also big recommendation from us. The organization is great. They provide mini van pick ups and the team from the agency that sells the trips was always willing to communicate with us. Very satisfied. 10/10

If you really want to see something more of Auschwitz, I would still make a day tour. 2.5 hours in Auschwitz 1 and 1.5 hours in Auschwitz 2 is way too short.
