Spend a day learning about Auschwitz-Birkenau—a former concentration camp during Nazi-occupied Poland. This site now stands as a place of remembrance to the victims who lost their lives there during the Second World War. You’ll be able to travel to Auschwitz-Birkenau with ease as Krakow hotel pickup and drop-off is included. Avoid long visitor lines as entrance tickets are included. By going on a guided tour, you’ll learn more about the sites you see, as well as background historical information too. A visit to the Museum is divided into two parts: the tour in Auschwitz I, which takes about two hours, and then the tour in Auschwitz II Birkenau, about one hour. Including transportation time it lasts about seven hours.

A very sad place that everyone should visit. Unfortunately, the museum is not very well organized. The group consisted of about 20 people and I believe that this is the maximum number for comfortable sightseeing. Nevertheless our driver who was also the tour leader spoke good english and was helpful.

Last couple to get picked up and only seats at back of bus - no windows and felt boxed in. Bus driver was very friendly and tour guide was very informative and friendly. Only downside was the trip to and from in the bus. Felt like we got a raw deal !!

The whole experience was very well organized, I am really happy I booked it for our visit in Auswitz Birkenau. Our driver Krzysztof was really friendly, a very good driver with a sence of humor! Our guide was fantastic, she did her best to describe all the atrocities that took place there! I totally recommend the activity for future visitors
