Full description
Visit Krakow’s old Jewish Quarter on a private tour with an expert local guide. Start the tour from wherever and at whatever time you choose, giving you flexibility to plan your day as you wish.  After you meet your guide, explore the narrow cobbled streets, squares, cozy restaurants and cafes serving up traditional Jewish-Polish dishes and old town houses.  See the major sights of the district, such as the synagogues, old cemetery, Monument to the Memory of Krakow Holocaust Victims, Jan Karsk’si Bench, Helena Rubinstein's birthplace, or the yard where the famous movie ‘Schindler's List’ was filmed.  In the Podgórze district, walk through the Ghetto Heroes Square with its 70 empty iron and bronze chairs, symbolizing the Polish Jews’ plight during World War II. To finish up, visit the remains of Ghetto Walls, before the end of the tour.

Very interesting visit

We are disappointed about our guide/tour. Her English was below average and she didnt have her facts straight (e.g. ‘this guy is still alive’ while that guy already died in 2000). She was enthousiastic but it sometimes felt like we knew more about certain history parts. Moreover, we missed a red thread through the story which made it chaotic.

Perfect tour with Dr. Magdalena Jackowska-Göbel. Perfect German, excellent knowledge of the subject, very friendly and helpful. An absolute recommendation.
