The lake is stunning and the little town of Tihany is lovely, even if we were a bit after the lavender season! The guide was great too! Really enjoyed the boat ride. The only downside of the trip was the train was very cramped and seemed a bit unnecessary as it didn’t show much of anything, just a pretty empty town. I would’ve rather had more time to explore or even swim as was promised on the description but there was never any opportunity to do that which was a bit of a let down!

This trip was amazing. Some of the reviews indicated that the train ride was not in English. This was not the case for us. Our guide spoke 4 languages! The weather is perfect. Everything was beautiful and everyone we met was friendly. If the weather is nice, I definitely recommend taking this full day trip. Note: we did not eat at the recommend restaurant, we found a small mart grabbed a few waters and ice cream.

Excellent, intelligent, informative, friendly, courteous, and fun loving guide! We had a great time despite a bit of rain. Got to see the beautiful lake and stopped at a waterfront cafe for coffee and a pastry. Walked along lake promenade stopping at local vendor stalls. Wonderful Hungarian lunch. Great and safe driver with a large, super comfortable car. BOOK THIS TOUR. YOU WONT REGRET IT!

That was a really nice, great tour! George our guide was great, very charming and funny!!! We would do this tour again and again, preferably with George!
