Full description

The morning starts with a hotel pick up followed by a 40-minute drive to reach the Spiazzi country, top of the hill. As part of the relaxing experience, you have the opportunity to purchase a coffee. Start the walk down the normal street in the direction of the Sanctuary of Madonna della Corona. It is also possible to reach the sanctuary by stairs but only if you are fit due to the amount of the stairs. It takes about 20 minutes to reach the sanctuary by road and there are toilets, a bar and a souvenir shop available on arrival. Spend time here in complete serenity at your leisure, visit the church, the green garden of the priest, take some pictures of the landscape. But please always do so in silence, out of respect. Return to the top of the mountain by public transport between the rocks and the thin mountain path. At approximately 12:00 PM you will head to the local Fattoria (farm) where animals, green grass, fresh air, and local products await you. Taste a glass of wine and a local dish. At around 2:00 PM you leave the vineyards and arrive back at your accommodation between 2:30 and 2:40 PM.

Truly unbelievable

Very nice! I didn't know this church, although I've been vacationing on Lake Garda for many years. I must thank the Montebaldo company for allowing me to discover a quiet place surrounded by nature in the quiet of the mountains where this church is perched on a rock. spectacular. After the short walk (10 minutes) we reached the sanctuary where the guide explained his story in detail. After free time for the 30 minute visit, we boarded a minibus that took us back to the bus. We then visited a typical farm where we had lunch, consuming only local, home-made products (delicious!). Nice day!! Really highly recommended.

Mein Freund und ich hatten eine wunderschöne Tour zur Wallfahrtskirche der Madonna della Corona. Wir wurden pünktlich am Treffpunkt von Ricardo abgeholt. Auf der Fahrt zur Kirche hat uns seine Mama ( ebenfalls Guide ) geschichtliche Details zur Umgebung erzählt und auch noch einiges über die Natur und Landschaft gesagt. An der Kirche hatten wir nach einigen historischen Einblicken durch den Guide noch etwas Zeit um den Ort alleine zu erkunden. Es ging dann von dort aus ( 5 Minuten entfernt ) zu einem kleinen Bauernhof in den Bergen. Die nette Familie hat uns so wunderbar und nett bewirtet. Wirklich ganz toll. Es gab hausgemachte Speisen wie eine Art Gnocchi, Salami, Käse, Brot und Wein. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis!! Ein großes Dankeschön an alle, besonders an Ricardo und seine Mama :-) LG Maren & Aymen

Tip for next time. Bus trip of 1.80 euros do not have to pay yourself because there is no entrance fee in the monastery. Furthermore, give travelers the tip to bring cash so that you can spend something at the farmer where you stop and have a tasting.
