What people are saying about Lamar Valley

Once we figured out where to begin and how the app functioned, it was great, but that took a while. We finally just went to the West Yellowstone entrance and then the app followed us. Since internet is spotty, GPS is spotty, which you need to use it. I really wanted a printed map because of the spotty GPS, but the company said you didn’t need it. I would recommend the tour, especially since I found out you can use it on subsequent days. You ca’t do Yellowstone in one day!

While this seems like a great tour for a family, as adults on the drive we would have liked more information; specifically an increased explanation of the science/geology behind the different thermal activity. We would also enjoy more constant noise, or even music, as there is a temptation to switch to radio during your silent spots. Which means that we can miss the beginning of the next lecture.

There was a road block, so I had to go around counter clockwise. Then come back clockwise to make the tour work right. But it works great as long as your going in right direction. I paid for 2 and only needed 1. Mistake when getting the app online.

This audio tour was perfect! It was spot on with gps location and gave lots of fun and interesting information about the park! Loved it!

Very helpful however, download prior to entering park as the second day that we had already paid for we could not get back on.
