Full description

Leave bustling Las Vegas and head out on a scenic drive into Navajo territory on a van tour. Explore this striking landscape with the help of a local Navajo guide, learning about the area's rich and long history. See iconic natural landmarks like Horseshoe Bend and Antelope Canyon.

Begin your tour with a stop for breakfast in St. George, Utah—home to the oldest continuously operating Mormon temple in the world.

After breakfast, approach the mighty Colorado River for a visit to Horseshoe Bend. Note where the river flows and meanders around the rocks creating a distinctive horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world.

Next, travel to where “the water runs through the rocks” as per the local Navajo folklore. Explore lower Antelope Canyon and visit the spectacular dunes created by the wind, water, and sand.

With your local Navajo guide, discover the beauty of the canyon up close. Admire the beauty of the sun which creates shafts of light that shine through the slits in the canyon walls.

After a break for lunch, continue to the Glenn Canyon viewpoint for one last look at this spectacular area. Finally, hop back on the bus to return to Las Vegas in the evening.

It was a long trip from Las Vegas but totally worth it! Denny the tourguide was very funny and gave a lot of information along the way, there were plenty of stops, and Horseshoe bend and Antelope canyon were incredibly beautiful! Highly recommended! Just 1 small thing: we went from our hotel (Treasure Island) to the meeting point (Luxor hotel) early in the morning with an uber. When we arrived there, it turned out that we first went to pick up people at....yes: Treasure island. I thought that was a shame because now we had to get up very early and I lost 30 dollars on the uber. But again, it's a beautiful drive and well worth it!

It was a successful day, everything was great, nice people, especially the translators were very courteous! Unfortunately I found the tip very demanding, it should be up to you how much you want to give and it is very unfair that only the driver and tour guide get the tip and the translators who also work all day and are there get it none of that unless you give it to them personally! Which they very well deserve!

I had the best experience with Irene as tour guide and Ozzie as the driver they made the trip to antelope canyon and horse shoe bend a memorable one. The bus ride was very comfortable and the other tourists were nice as I travelled alone. Overall the experience was 1000% great! I’d take the Grand Canyon tour next time I come to Vegas through the same tour bus company.
