Full description

Leave bustling Las Vegas and head out on a scenic drive into Navajo territory and explore this striking landscape with the help of a local Navajo guide.

Stop for breakfast in St. George, Utah, home to the oldest continuously operating Mormon temple in the world.

After breakfast, approach the mighty Colorado River for a visit to Horseshoe Bend. Note where the river flows and meanders around the rocks creating a distinctive horseshoe-shaped loop beloved by visitors and photographers from around the world. Next, travel to where “the water runs through the rocks” as per the local Navajo folklore. Explore lower Antelope Canyon and visit the spectacular dunes created by the wind, water, and sand.

With your local Navajo guide, discover the beauty of the canyon up close. Admire the beauty of the sun which creates shafts of light that shine through the slits in the canyon walls. After a break for lunch, continue to the Glenn Canyon viewpoint for one last look at this spectacular area. Finally, hop back on the bus to return to Las Vegas in the evening.

Antelope Canyon was absolutely beautiful.. I have never seen anything like it. The colors and shapes of the sandstone made so many pictures. Your imagination was on overtime seeing so many shapes. The mini van was not comfortable for the 12 hour we were in it. The seats were uncomfortable and couples could not sit together. It was nice to have a small group tour but the Mercedes mini van was so uncomfortable and limited room.. no restroom facilities on board and only stops were mini markets..

Did this tour in March of 2022 and my tour guide was Danny and driver was Tony. Danny was funny and knowledgeable and kept the bus tour entertained. Tony was a great driver and made us feel very safe and comfortable. There was about 32 of us on the tour bus (mask not mandated but still wore it). The tour started about 6:30am at the Luxor hotel north entrance. And ended pretty late at night and got back to the Luxor at around 10pm. We got to see horseshoe bend and it was a short 10 min flat walk one way. Got to spend an hour there. And antelope canyon was truly a highlight. We got to see lower antelope canyon and it was truly a work of art. The tour was about almost 2 hours with a Navajo tour guide that took beautiful pics of us. But just know you can’t bring any bag, selfie stick, tripod into the antelope canyon and mask worn at all times even for photos. I highly recommend this tour!! Must do if you are in Vegas and do this day tour.

The trip is long but it becomes very short with the tour guide who, despite starting very early, has a lot of energy and knows exactly how to manage the times so that everything goes perfectly. He gets along wonderfully with the driver and the whole trip is very entertaining. The places you visit are wonderful and without a doubt worth the time on the road. totally recommended
