Full description

Get out of Las Vegas and experience breathtaking Antelope Canyon on a day trip. Discover why the Navajo calls the canyon "the place where water runs through rocks," snap beautiful pictures of awe-inspiring geological formations, and see the Colorado River at Horseshoe Bend.

Meet your guide at your pickup point in Las Vegas and head into the high desert. As you drive, pass through the town of Kanab in Utah. After a short bathroom break, approach the mighty Colorado River for a visit to Horseshoe Bend.

Stop at the viewpoint to see panoramic views of Lake Powell before heading to one of the world's most popular photography spots, Antelope Canyon. Choose between entering the canyon during prime time, the best hours to see the sunlight on the canyon walls or non-prime time.

Meet your local Navajo tour guide and enter the canyon to get pictures of the light reflecting off the canyon walls. Next, drive to Page for a lunch break (cost not included) before returning to Las Vegas.

In truth words can't do justice to this tour. It's a long day, but one that you don't want to end. Our driver and guide for the day was Don who was friendly and informative throughout, whilst keeping us to schedule. The long journey was amply broken up with breaks. The first sightseeing is horseshoe bend where the Colorado River doubles back on itself around the canyon. There's a short walk to get there on a comfortable trail and a viewing platform with a fense, or other areas where you can go to the edge of the canyon (not recommended) Next we went to Antelope Canyon where our local guide Brian S took us down to see the rock structures. He showed us the best photo angles and took some picture for us. A great guy and full of passion for the local ecology. After this we had a short lunch break (with several choices of where to eat) then on to see the dam on lake Powell before heading back.

This was an amazing experience! Our guide was Hiro and he was very prepared for the day and very informative. If you’re early enough he might be able to make an extra stop with spectacular views. Be prepared to pack the least amount of things with you. Once you enter the Navajo Tribe Antelope Canyons there are NO bags allowed. I loved learning about the land & Navajo tribe and would definitely come back again.

I love this trip and have fun for Upper Antelope Canyon. The tour guide shown many stunning and beautiful pictures and we have good memory of this place. This is a long day trip ride and prepare yourself with water and snack for a day. For Las Vegas pick up should be clear instruction to customer to make sure give more details in the future.
