This was an hour tour. I thought that seemed long knowing we would only get 15 minutes to see the painting. But our guide did a good job at check in, handing out the audio guides, explaining the entrance process and timing, and having us have our ID ready for obtaining the actual tickets. All if this takes time. She then proceeded to explain the history of the region back then, the powers that be, and how the convent/refractory and paintings came to be. She gave insights into the painting, from the subjects to the timing and process, to possible messages from DaVinci himself. She also gave us the history of the restoration attempts and the damage to the original paintings by war and others. She stayed after to answer a few more question. Good tour

Great Tour and wonderful to have such a limited (15 or so) people in the viewing room for our time slot o enjoy the Last Supper! Worth the cost! Tour companies buy up all the tickets so it is hard to go direct on your own.... Very typical, but compare because tour was a fair and good value when many other Tour operators charge 2-3 times more for the exact same thing. Devon and family from Honolulu, Hawaii

The work, of course, is stunning, and worth the price of admission. Our guide was excellent. The meeting place was quite chaotic the day I visited (a Saturday — I would avoid weekends). A single guide represents several ticket/guide operators/brokers, so it’s not obvious which guide you are meant to be with. I approached 3-4 guides before finding the correct one. I think this process needs to be easier. Also, the square which is the meeting place is in the sun and can get quite hot; bring a hat and water (although you will have to ‘check’ your water before entering the refectory where The Last Supper resides).
