Full description

Your tour begins with hotel pick-up in Lisbon before departing for Fátima, home to one of the largest shrines in the world, which attracts more than 5 million visitors each year. Once there, visit the Church of the Most Holy Trinity, a modern church completed in 2007.

Then, stop and take your pick of religious articles or other products to get blessed at your next stop, the sanctuary.

The Sanctuary is where the Virgin Mary is believed to have appeared and left 3 messages to the small shepherd: the end of the First World War, the end of Communism, and the attack on Pope John Paul the Second.

After the sanctuary, continue your visit to the Monastery of Batalha, classified as a UNESCO World Heritage site. This impressive convent was built by King John I of Portugal to thank the Virgin Mary following the battle of Aljubarrota against Spanish troops on August 14, 1385.

Next, visit Nazaré, near the ocean. Relax as you admire the wonderful beach, charming fishermen’s houses, and amazing cliffs over the Atlantic Ocean. Feel free to visit the top of the cliff, where the famous Nazaré legend took place.

After lunch, continue with a visit to the village of Óbidos, a town that is home to amazing churches and historic castle walls along its perimeter. Then it’s back to your hotel in Lisbon, where this day of cultural and religious history will end.

Amazing trip and covered so many places in a single day. The heat was scorching but apart from that we had a great experience. Visiting Our Lady Of Fatima was a once in a lifetime experience. It was so peaceful and we had enough time to roam around and even had the opportunity to attend mass. We lit candles and prayed in silence. O idols was another wonderful experience. Nazare was so beautiful. The scenic location, the beach below and the mountains covered with fog were a mesmerizing experience. So much beauty of nature in one place. The food in nazare was so tasty . We had burritos it was a small restaurant at the end of the street before you enter the area where the hoarding says Worlds Largest Waves Our guide Luis was so sweet and so much experienced. He’s been in the industry for more than 30 years and the way he does his trips it is evident that he still enjoys his job and is very passionate about it. He said he loves meeting new people everyday.

It was a fabulous day. We had a lot of free time which allowed us to go at our own pace. Our guide Pedro is a great person, he spoke 4 languages and adapted to each person in the group. Fatima is a wonderful place. We were able to eat good fish in a small restaurant in Nazaré and finally discover the magnificent town of Obidos

The setting in Fátima is impressive and makes you imagine how the process of the apparitions was until the approval of the official cult of Our Lady. Disappointed with the visit to Nazaré, it lasted 15' and we didn't get close to the Big Waves area, which should be a "must". It seems to me very little time for four destinations, I suggest recomposing the itinerary.
