Full description

Leave the music city of Liverpool and travel to Wales on a 90-minute, fully-narrated journey arriving at Llandudno. Visit the 12th-century hidden chapel of St. Tudno on the Great Orme.

Next is the walled town of Conwy, constructed in 1283 with a fabulous 3/4-mile wall circuit. Go inside Conwy Castle (not included), a gritty, dark-stoned fortress built by James of St. George in partnership with Frenchman Richard The Engineer.

Afterward, head to Snowdonia National Park using carefully-selected, off-the-beaten-track routes with a stop at the so-called “capital of North Wales,” Betws-Y-Coed prayer house in the woods.

Finally, take the unique opportunity to experience the Pontcysyllte Canal Aqueduct, built by Sir Thomas Telford between 1795 and 1805. Prepare to be entertained and informed by your experienced guide and driver along the way.

This was one of the best trips I have done in the UK. North Wales should be one of the top priority list if you like country side. I liked the snowdonia national park journey which reminded me of Switzerland. If you are bored of the city life this one is a just a perfect weekend getaway trip.

We had a fantastic time in North Wales on board with Shelley. We had a glimpse of what North Wales has to offer and we can't wait to be back for more. Shelley shared great tips and stories and made our tour entertaining and enjoyable. We would definitely recommend doing a day trip to North Wales with Busybus.

The tour gives you an overall glimpse of Wales but it is way too rushed. Our driver left a bit late and we had to get back a bit early, because of passengers not his fault. So we had like 15-20 minutes in most places except for the castle + lunch that was 1 hour, which should have been 2 to give people chance to go inside the castle. The places we visited were very nice, but my suggestion is to start one hour earlier. 8:45 is quite late for such a long distance.
