It was good for what it was, helped us do lots of things we wanted to do… only problem was if you don’t read how long it lasts for, then it’s a shock. It wasn’t clearly labelled that once you have activated it it’s not from the time you first did activity it’s from the day. So we used it firstly at 2:30 on the Wednesday thinking we had until the Friday at 2:30, turns out it only goes from day period not time so we used it Wednesday and we could use it Thursday nothing more which came at a shock as it’s not clear this. Also some activities are already free so be careful what you go to.

Booked through Get your Guide. Printed tickets off but downloaded App too. Purchased a day pass so worked out what we could do in a day using the Pass. Used Big Bus Tours. It takes ages to get around the whole circle of the city. We were told 2 hours but its more like 2 and 1/2. Missed seeing some of the landmarks due to road closures. We went to Westminster Abbey. Booked 3pm to 3.30pm slot at St Paul's. Boarded the bus at 1.45 and only just made the slot at 3.30pm. The bus went past the Abbey 3 or 4 times which was strange. From St Paul's we made our 6pm booking at the Shard. Would recommend purchasing the pass and the attractions we visited.

Everything went smoothly. Lots of choice of sights. It would have been nice if the hop in hop off bus, like the London Pass, had been valid for 2 days. In one day it is not possible to drive all routes and see one or the other sight. Because of the open roof, it was very cold in the bus. Unfortunately, the London Eye was not included.
