Full description
Drive to Windsor Castle in the Royal Borough of Berkshire on a half-day tour to explore more than 900 years of royal history. From William the Conqueror through to the current Queen, successive English monarchs have lived, ruled and left their mark on what is now the largest continuously occupied castle in the world. Your ticket allows entrance to the castle, where you can marvel at the splendor of St. George’s Chapel, and see the sumptuous state apartments. Take some time to wander around the pretty town, full of traditional shops and historic pubs. Shakespeare is said to have written his play “The Merry Wives of Windsor” in one of them! Then, return to the capital to experience the breathtaking feat of engineering of the London Eye. From inside one of the capsules you will be able to see for up to 40 kilometers in all directions on clear days. With a capacity for 800 passengers per revolution - equivalent to 11 double-decker buses each rotation takes about 30 minutes at speeds twice as fast as a sprinting tortoise. Marvel at London’s monuments from heights of up to 135 meters above street level.

    Great offer

If you have not rented a car, you should definitely book such a tour, as a taxi would be quite expensive. The tour time includes the return trip and time at Windsor Castle. You will receive a new voucher for the London Eye, which must be redeemed on the same day. Windsor Castle: It is very impressive and highly recommended!

    A unique experience, absolutely recommended!

The day started with the bus trip cheered by the stories of our fantastic guide "Steve", on the history of the English monarchy. The visit to the castle is a unique experience, part of it is the guide and part gives you the radios with your language. I then had a visit to the London Eye so they gave me a voucher to enter the attraction without queuing. A van picked us up from the castle and took us right under the London Eye. Fantastic organization and kind and wonderful staff. I recommend it to everybody!

    Very impressive

I did the half day tour - Windsor only and London Eye map. This was perfectly timed - at least 1 hour more time in Windsor than the day tour. If you don't want to rush but want to enjoy this wonderful castle, this form is definitely recommended. It was just a pity that the guide did not lead through the castle - but it was due to the combined form with the day tour. Guide was very knowledgeable. You have to do London Eye - since the queue was extremely long, I briefly upgraded Das Tickt to almost Track - it was worth it.
