1. Los Angeles: 2-Hour Beverly Hills Segway Tour

Add a little glitz and glamour to your Los Angeles adventure and take a Segway tour of Beverly Hills. Hollywood moguls, mavens, and movie stars began moving to the upscale neighborhood in the 1920s, and today it is renowned for its chauffeured Rolls Royce limousines and incredible real estate. After a short training session on how to stay upright on the easy-to-use self-balancing vehicles, glide through arguably the most exclusive neighborhood in the entire world. There is much more to see than just the elite boutiques of Rodeo Drive. Pass diverse architecture, restaurant hot spots, and beautifully manicured gardens. Your guide will give you a brief history lesson about Beverly Hills, as you cruise down notable streets, such as Wilshire Boulevard, and stop at the iconic Beverly Hills Hotel, also known as the “Pink Palace.” Snap a picture at the Beverly Hills sign, look for stars around the Beverly Hilton, and make your way down Santa Monica Boulevard for a true taste of LA's energy and lifestyle.

Named for Henry Gaylord Wilshire, an Ohio native who made and lost fortunes in real estate, farming, and gold mining, the boulevard was initiated in the 1890s when Wilshire cleared out a path in his barley field. Running for 15.83 miles from Grand Avenue in downtown Los Angeles to Ocean Avenue in Santa Monica, Wilshire Boulevard is densely developed throughout most of its span. It links 5 of LA’s major business districts and Beverly Hills, where the world's most luxurious boutiques are found, and where you’ll head on this tour. Glide by the glittering shops of Rodeo Drive and beneath the towering glory of its great hotels and famous buildings.

Perfect end to LA

At first I was a bit irritated because nobody was there in the office. However, 10 minutes before the meeting point, a nice guide came and welcomed you with open arms. There were snacks and drinks for free. Since I was the only one who booked the tour at 8 a.m. on Sunday morning, it started right away. All very unbureaucratic. I quickly chose the helmet, the segway in front of the door and then I was able to do the first laps in the parking lot. A bit unusual at the beginning, but it takes less than 10 minutes and you feel safe on the Segway. You don't need to be afraid of falling. It was beautiful weather, we drove across Beverly Hills. It was exciting and gave some background information. All questions were also answered. All in all, a fair price and worthwhile and to be recommended in any case.

Great tour and great guide! Highly recommended!

We enjoyed the tour very much. My partner and I were lucky enough to be the only participants. So we basically had a private tour. Our guide was very friendly and, above all, very funny. The segways were of good quality and very easy to use. At the beginning of the tour there was a short briefing in a parking lot so that we felt safe enough to drive through the crowds. Helmets, water and snacks were also included. Everything great! Absolutely to suggest!

Fun Segway Tour Santa Monica

In the morning at nine o'clock we were at Santa Monica. Still suffering from the jet lag and so woke up early. But the temperature was very pleasant and it was still wonderfully quiet. We had a nice guide who tore with us over the concrete paths from Santa Monica to Venice beach and back. We enjoyed it.

Great tour! Because Cynthia and I were the only ones on the tour we were not only given the Wiishire tour but also the Beverly Hills tour. The tour was great fun because Evert was very knowledgeable about the whole area toured.

Great tour guide! Was fun and easy to learn how to ride. Would really recommend it to anyone looking to have a good time.
