What people are saying about Luang Prabang

We enjoy cycling in and around London but are not mountain bikers and so this day was perfect for us. About 20km on road before turning off onto a dirt track for the second half - through villages and lovely countryside. No specular views or climbs but with a friendly local guide the whole experience was very chilled and special. Our group even overcame a puncture with local village help that added to the overall memories.

Good way to see the rural landscape and local way of life plus getting exercise. Beautiful nature around Kuang Si waterfalls. Local food which was tasty. Opportunity to swim at the falls. Pleasant and comfortable cruise with views of the Mekong back to Luang Prabang.
