In the morning after breakfast in your hotel in Luxor, your professional tour guide will pick up you from the lobby of your hotel to start a wonderful Guided day tour to these amazing highlights: Madinet Habu is an impressive temple complex built during the reign of Ramses III that is famous for its well-preserved reliefs and colorful paintwork. Madinet Habu temple is an ancient Egyptian temple complex located on the west bank of the Nile River in Luxor, Egypt. It was built during the New Kingdom period, specifically during the reign of Pharaoh Ramses III in the 12th century BC. The temple complex is dedicated to the god Amun and is considered one of the best-preserved temples from ancient Egypt. Then Explore the Valley of the Workers, home to the tombs of the workers who built the nearby temples, and structures. The tombs are decorated with intricate paintings and provide insight into the lives of the workers who built these impressive structures. Finally, head to the valley of the queens valley closer to the Nile lies the valley of the Queens. That area is inappropriately named because it houses the kings‘ family members, including both males and females, and even some high officials. There are about 80 numbered tombs in this area, probably the most well-known of which is that of Queen Nefertari. (Please note that according to the Supreme Council of Egyptian Antiquities, it is not allowed for any tour guide to explain the tombs from the inside to avoid overcrowding inside the tombs).
