Full description

Benefit from a short training session on Plaza de San Miguel in front of San Miguel Market to make sure you feel confident operating your self-balancing personal transporter before you head off. Then, cruise through the city center to one of the oldest squares at Plaza de la Villa. Admire the 15th, 16th and 17th-century buildings, including the former residence of the composer Federico Chueca at La Torre de los Lujanes. Take a look at the Royal Palace and impressive Almudena Cathedral. See the Egyptian Templo de Debod and make your way to Sabatini Gardens. End with a visit to the royal hunting estate at Casa de Campo Park.

The guide was extremely personable and very knowledgeable about the city's history and how if functions. I even asked about how to use the Metro, and he told me about the Egyptian Temple in town, which I had never heard of. His English was perfect, and hew was always asking to make sure if I was seeing what I wanted to see. Ask for Chris!

We had booked three hours. Luis our tour guide was very knowledgeable and informative. Would definitely choose such a tour again, as you get to see a lot more than the obligatory buses. Also suitable for beginners, you will receive instructions on how to use the Segways. Unfortunately so far only bookable in English, but this didn't bother us.

Great route

We were alone as a couple with Gabriel the German speaking tour guide. His German was fine. We have fully used the 3 hours. The route is for people with Segway experience, I would say. The tour was very informative, even if we weren't really interested in all of it. There were routes on the Rio where you could really 'extend' the Segway. Overall very satisfied. Info: you have to wear a hairnet under the helmet, which you can get there
