Overall rating

based on 7,400 reviews

It was a beautiful experience. I’d book it once more hehe We had Alejandro & Silvia as our guides and they were really funny and professional. We had our 1st stop at a windmill in Zaanse Schans (where we were explained how it basically works - and blimey it was still working and producing peanut oil). Then we reached Marken where we went to a clog factory and got a very entertaining and enthusiastic presentation of how clogs are made. Then away we went via a ferryboat to Volendam where we had time to walk around, eat and witness a great live session on how gouda cheese it being made. We also bought some. It’s delicious (especially if you are a cheese lover). We also had the chance to find out more about the history of the stroopwafels. It was a very pleasant day and we were very lucky because the weather was our friend. We didn’t feel rushed, but maybe a bit more time in Marken (10-15 min more) would be the perfect touch. Other than that, it was really great.

Really fun tour. Even my fiancé enjoyed it and is not usually the tour taker. Our guide was really nice and provided lots of information on the Netherlands. Definitely recommend to take and get out of the city. Lunch time was very short. Previous reviews mentioned this also which is a shame because that town would have been nice to explore with more time. Everything was on time. We had a bus issue but they got a new bus during lunch and we had no delays. I still have to give it 5/5.

I absolutely enjoyed this tour with our guide - Wybe. With 8 people only for the English tour, we went around in an electric minivan. Zaans Schans is a very interesting place but Volendam holds a special place in my heart closely followed by Edam. Wybe welcomed many questions from us all and was well equipped to answer them all.

The tour was very well organised and punctual with a lot to see and do Guides and driver were superb and caring Really enjoyed it

it was a tour for me and my friends. I can recommend it.
