    Discover the Duomo, one of the most iconic buildings in Milan, the true symbol of the city with skip-the-line access. Walk through the main aisle and explore the history of the city, the artistic and architectural features of the church, its countless paintings, statues, and stained glass windows. Uncover its many anecdotes and legends, its pagan elements such as zodiac symbols, and the many hidden secrets this place still hides! Head downstairs to the basement to visit the mysterious crypt under the altar, and see where the ancient tomb of Archbishop Carlo Borromeo is located. For the second part of your tour, save your energy and skip 200 steps as you use the elevator to head up the steepest part of the cathedral and reach the first terrace. Walk across the rooftops to see the skyline and let your guide show you the buildings that you can spot from the top, witnessing the life of the city in constant motion from its most emblematic monument.

      Great guidance! You should definitely do it.

      Everything went like clockwork. Guide very punctual, very nice, very competent. The story about the Milan Cathedral conveyed us very well. The terrace of the cathedral is simply gigantic. Since we had booked the tour at 10 am, there weren't that many people in and around the cathedral.

      Awful coordination:Duomo access was not possible for the guided visit

      We paid for a French guided tour of the Duomo Cathedral + Terrace but when we started the visit we had the info that the Duomo was not accessible: no fast-track and guides forbidden on that day (a ceremony that was very big means that it was for sure predictable and known by all tourism professionals). Fast track was ok only for the terrace but then we had to wait again for the guide who needed the fast-track as well. Finally we ended up in the Museum 'free access' and not even the special exposition Picasso because we refused to pay any extra fees. Means that this "Service" is really scandalous despite the fact that the Guide was very good and professional. We want to be reimbursed of this amount total 334 eur for lack of service.
