Full description

Explore the Cinque Terre, one of Italy's most scenic landscapes, on a guided day trip from Milan by van. See Cinque Terre from different perspectives from a boat and a train.

After leaving Milan by coach, arrive in Monterosso al Mare, the largest of the Cinque Terre's 5 villages. With no car traffic, it remains one of the truest fishing villages on the Italian Riviera. Restaurants, bars, and accommodation all have an endearingly homespun air about them. From Monterosso, start the final leg of your journey: a boat cruise, where you can admire the stunning views of the Cinque Terre and the delightful village of Portovenere from the sea. Arrive at La Spezia where your coach will be waiting to take you back to Milan.

These 5 enchanting medieval villages cling to the coast, offering a breathtaking sight of the sea, and are now part of a national park listed by UNESCO as a World Heritage Site.

Our guide was fabulous and very knowledgeable about the area. She was helpful and so sweet. I think the tour was rushed and think that adding an extra hour to explore, shop, find a restroom and eat, at the two stops, would have really enhanced the tour. My advice would be to go anytime but the summer. The temperatures were extremely hot, which contributed to my inability to keep up with the rushed pace of the tour. The bus was very comfortable with great air conditioning and the driver was very skilled. Overall, a great tour company. In fact, we took 3 tours with them!

(July 25th 2022) The Cinque Terre are undoubtedly beautiful and a must see on the coast - please remember that they are SMALL and the crowds visiting are BIG ! It all started with a traffic accident that caused an hour plus delay and the guides had to call ahead to reschedule etc. It was super hot and humid and the train ride and boat ride were just so packed we were unable to find seats or a cool area making it a “get me out of here situation for us ! This was all because of the time of year, the heat and our delay and not a result of issues with the tour company. On the plus side - The coach was very comfortable and our guide Eddy was great ! Very knowledgeable and told us all about the region and the history! He did an amazing job keeping us all together as a group !! (It was a big group 75 which was probably too big ) but nevertheless we have beautiful photos and memories of the day ! So plan your trip accordingly!

Absolutely GREAT! Cinque Terre is beautiful to behold. We went from Milan by bus to Manarola first. The bus ride takes about 4 hours including a 30-minute break at a rest stop. We were then in Manarola at about 11:30 am. We walked through the small town with our tour guide Salvatore until we arrived at the water. From there we had around 40 minutes to explore everything ourselves. Then we continued by train to Monterosso (BEAUTIFUL). We stayed there for 2.5 hours. Then we continued by boat (where you can really see all 5 small towns on the water). Here you drive to Porto Venere, have a short stay there and then continue with another boat to La Spezia. The bus back to Milan is waiting there (there will also be a short break of around 30 minutes on the return journey).
