Lisbon Discovery Game: The Hidden Gems of Alfama

10. Lisbon Discovery Game: The Hidden Gems of Alfama

Join an interactive city discovery experience across Lisbon. You’ll solve riddles via a web app in your phone’s browser. Your challenge starts at Miradouro de Santa Luzia, in front of the fish fountain. All the information you need for your adventure is provided in a detailed email, ensuring you are ready to go once you get to the starting location. The game ends near Praca Luis de Camoes. Throughout the day, you will get to solve a series of 8 riddles that will also acquaint you with the beautiful Alfama area of Lisbon. Each riddle takes you from one (hidden) location to the next. You’ll unlock local recommendations and fun facts - as well as the history of the city. Every riddle is made up of (cryptic) directions and a question. To answer the question, you can try as many answers as you like - no penalty for doing so. If you’re stuck, you can ask for a hint. This does lead to 10-minutes of ‘penalty time’. Meaning it increases your overall completion time. If you’re really lost, you may skip a riddle. But why would you? It’s less fun and adds 20-minutes of ‘penalty time’. There’s no time limit to completing the game. You’ll discover spots in Lisbon that most locals don’t even know. You’ll see popular sights from a different angle and walk the discovery trail that will show you the charming streets, cafes, curious statues and wicked art. This game is a perfect way to spend an afternoon in Lisbon, at your own pace, going off-the-beaten track, in a private group. Take a break as you wish, enjoy your discoveries and flexible exploration.

Very satisfied with the guide Miguel for his punctuality, his availability, his humor and his erudition: a well of knowledge and knowledge. We spent 4 hours with him and it was a real pleasure. We started our visit to Lisbon with him and it allowed us to have a broad view of the city and better find our way afterwards. We highly recommend this guide to Miguel Fuller and s Company.

We had a great 4 hour tour with Mario Dimiz. Very punctual pickup in front of the hotel, then we drove to Belem first. Then we went back to Lisbon where we ate the delicious pasteis da nata and drank the cherry liqueur. As well as looked at all interesting places and sights. I would book this tour again at any time. Again a big THANK YOU!

Sylvia was great, we really enjoyed the 4 hour tour of Lisbon old town and Belem. The views were amazing and we were very lucky with the weather! My only comment is that we struggled to hear her speaking over the city noises, it would have been good if she had a microphone or something. Just a suggestion.

We enjoyed the tram tour. the driver greeted us very well and explained the tour. To do when the weather is a little more gloomy and allows you to see things that you would not necessarily have seen by yourself

Such a nice way to start to get to know Lisbon! And Nuno was a fantastic guide: both a local and an experienced guide, and interested in tailoring the time to what I wanted to know.
