Jackson Hole: Bridger-Teton National Forest Horseback Ride

1. Jackson Hole: Bridger-Teton National Forest Horseback Ride

Join professional wranglers on a 2-hour or 4-hour horseback ride through the trails of Bridger-Teton National Forest on this tour from Jackson Hole. See stunning views of the Grand Teton mountain range and ride along a winding river. Start your adventure at one of the oldest dude ranches in the USA. Choose between a 2-hour ride or extend your wilderness adventure with a 4-hour tour. Meet your wrangler and guide, and get your riding gear.  Before heading to the trails, meet your friendly horse and learn how mount and dismount. Practice handling your horse with the reins and learn to control how fast your horse trots and how to stop, start, and steer. Take a test trot on the ranch property. Venture into the Aspen Tree Groves on horseback. Ride through the Bridger-Teton National Forest, looking for wildlife and local flora. Follow the horse trails and admire panoramic views of the Tetons.  Continue down into the Buffalo Valley to ride along a lazy river. Return to the ranch with a deeper connection to nature and an understanding of the Wild West.  When the wranglers load participants onto horses we will match the best horse for each rider for safety considerations we therefore can not allow you to pick horses. During the loading process we must take the time to care for the horses and make smaller groups of riders. Group sizes average approximately 10 riders and it can take over an hour to load all of the groups safely and care for the horses, so please be patient and expect this process to take some time. We appreciate your patience.

Taylor was a very fun and pleasant guide. He was good with the dogs and answered all of our questions. The experience itself was quite fun. And we got to meet some adorable puppies! This isn't a hard core sledding experience but it was enjoyable and we were glad we did it. Definitely would recommend.

We had a wonderful time! All employees were very welcoming and willing to share information about the dogs. Taylor and Aspen were exceptional! The hot cocoa and warm cookies were over the top!! The only issue we had was that my husband’s shoulders were too broad for the sled.

The dog sledding and sleigh ride was the highlight of our trip. It was great to meet the new dog momma and her three pups. What a fun day in the great state of Wyoming!

Súper nice excellent experience way better than other places we have gone before. Everyone very nice they use their own gear to be even safer. Highly recommended

Everyone was really nice and they treated the dogs with kindness. Very well recommended.
