Get to know Cairo from the perspective of the Islam world on this half-day tour centered around the Islamic culture and influence in the city. Begin your tour with a visit to the Citadel of Salah Ed-Din. Located high atop Cairo, the Citadel boasts magnificent views of the city. Built by the Arab hero Salah ad-Din, the Citadel primarily functioned as a military garrison, as well as serving as a royal residence for over 700 years. Continuing in the historical traditions of Islamic Cairo, head to the famous Sultan Hassan Mosque, which dates back to the 13th century. Considered to be one of the masterpieces of Islamic art and architecture, its history also includes time spent as a school. Great and worth seeing tour, not only the obligatory sights (pyramids, Sphinx, Egyptian and Papyrus Museum), but especially Sakkara (there you can climb really deep into the pyramid and see sarcophagi, murals and reliefs) and the Alabaster Mosque (200m high above Cairo ) make the tour so great. The trip to Cairo was in an air-conditioned coach, from Cairo we had our own tour guide for the 2 days, who did a great job. The overnight stay was also very good by Egyptian standards, although the hotel is quite remote but close to the pyramids, which you can also see from there.

Trip a bit tiring, but perfectly organized, the Egyptologist guide was very good, nice hotel with a view of the pyramids the only flaw was the water in the showers with a bad smell. Apart from this I advise everyone to do at least 1 night in Cairo ... Less tiring and you visit more attractions

Ayman and the driver are very attentive, responsible and friendly, I would certainly repeat the excursion with them again. Especially Ayman is a true gentleman and speaks Spanish perfectly, it shows that he loves his job and has a lot of cultural knowledge of Egypt.
