The best things come in small packages! With wonderful stucco works and crystal chandeliers inside, Max's Joseph Hall is for many a small pearl in the residence and forms the perfect frame for classical concerts. Live chamber music also helps animate the intimate character of the space. The Munich Residence served as the seat of government and residence of the Bavarian dukes, electors and kings from 1508 to 1918. What began in 1385 as a castle in the north-eastern corner of the city (the Neuveste, or new citadel), was transformed by rulers over the centuries into a magnificent palace, its buildings and gardens extending further and further into the town. A must do in Munich. You are only getting a ticket, so don’t expect to have someone tshow you where to go. And the “meeting spot” was actually not that obvious as there were 2 Lions Gate. It’s a small office in the middle of the complex. Get there early for the best seats. I arrived a little before 6 pm and there were already patrons seated.

it's inside the palace chapel which is not tiny but if you like to be up front go exchange your voucher at the beginning of check in. The seating is uncomfortable but they did have nicer individual chairs at the back, but they could be reserved for the elderly, not sure. The three musicians were young and very talented. So glad we went

Lots of different options for drop offs. Pick ups were every 15 minutes so it was convenient. Sitting in the upper deck was nice.

Das Rätselspiel hat uns irre spaß gemacht. sehr vielseitig und lustig.
